More Parking Needed For Motorcycles, Scooters, Bikes?

There's an interesting thread on the Spokesman's 'Huckleberries' blog about the need to possibly reconfigure some of the Kootenai County parking area to accomodate more
motorcycles, scooters, bikes, etc.

With the increase in gas prices, it's inevitable that more parking for alternate forms of transportation is going to be required.

Huckleberries' question is: How do you think the current escalating gas prices will ultimately play out, in terms of different types of travel and even parking space?
