A draft of the Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (KMPO) Regional Non-Motorized Transportation Plan (RNMTP) is now available for public review and comment.
The RNMTP was last adopted in 2009. The updated Plan reanalyzes existing conditions of non-motorized transportation and the regional network and identifies current and future needs. The Plan includes recommended network and program improvements to better address non-motorized transportation as a complement to automobile and transit modes in Kootenai County. The public comment period provides an opportunity for the community to review the plan and provide feedback prior to finalizing the draft for further consideration. All public comments will be reviewed, addressed, and included in the final plan document.
To view or download the 2018 RNMTP, go to www.kmpo.net or call KMPO at (208) 930-4164 for a copy. The comment period is from June 8, 2018 through July 8, 2018. All comments must be received by KMPO no later than July 9, 2018 through one of the following options: email email@example.com; mailing or delivering to KMPO, 250 Northwest Blvd. Suite 209, Coeur d’ Alene ID 83814; or calling (208) 930-4164.
