The Eye on Boise Blog reminds you to clear your windshield before driving. Yes, it sounds obvious, but we've all gotten lazy, or been in a hurry, and left home with only a small circle of window to look out.
Apparently that's what caused a pedestrian to be hit in a crosswalk in Boise yesterday. The victim will be fine but the driver was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk, plus driving with an obstructed windshield.
The law says “No vehicle shall be operated when the windshield and/or windows of the vehicle are coated with ice, snow, sleet, or dust to the extent that the driver’s view ahead, or to the sides or rear of the vehicle are obstructed.”
