A letter to the editor in the Coeur d'Alene Press today expresses frustration with the Idaho Transportation Department for the work they're doing on US 95 from Highway 53 to Ohio Match Road.
The writer complains that ITD is jepordizing her safety because the project will cut off southbound access to their construction business and their semis will be forced to make U turns at Ohio Match to get going the right direction. My question is, if she's so concerned with safety, why doesn't the writer require her drivers to take a different route rather than a U turn?
Here's the entire letter.
