I heard about this on the radio this morning and looked it up when I got to work. One man is taking on the pothole war- with flowers. I didn't have time to read his entire blog so I'm not sure where this guy is located, but Steve Wheen is planting flowers in potholes, to draw attention to them. He says it spruces up the landscape and lets cars know to avoid them. No word on how the city or county where he lives feels about this.
