ITD Saves Millions Using New Design Standard

A new highway design standard has saved the Idaho Transportation Department nearly five times more money than initially expected. Adoption of the Practical Design management approach initially was expected to produce savings of about $5.6 million in 2008.Here are the details from the ITD website.
